One Sunday morning between Kasungu and Lilongwe.
The little girl with hard-working hands and a childish look is helping her parents on the family tobacco plantation. This export farming brings currencies to the country. However, farmers get a very low price for their production which doesn’t allow them a decent life. A few big companies, almost monopolize the market. The independent farmer can’t transport his production. Some middlemen do the job and buy one kg of tobacco for € 0.30 to € 0.45 depending on the villages and the tobacco quality.
