Fabrication des briques / Brick making
Région de Rumphi.
Quatre cent villageois habitent Khunkhu.
Rumphi region.
Four hundred villagers live in Khunkhu. They eat what they produce (manioc, cabbage, rape, bananas, sugar cane) and build their own houses.
Bricks bake for a week and cool down during two weeks before being transported. This farmer is using grass to check the temperature of the oven rather than wasting wood. When they don’t catch fire, he then adds wood.
